I’m a sucker for a cool church, and it’s been a while since I’ve shared any. I mentioned that last week I was spending time at West Point with my son. When we visit, we always make our way to the Cadet Chapel for some quiet time with these stained glass windows. I could happily spend hours there because there is so much art to study in that giant room.
One of the things I have learned about churches is that no matter where you are in the world, each church reflects the culture of the parishoners. For example, the churches in Denmark have so many allusions to the sea and fishing. Well, the cadet chapel is full of military symbolism. There are depictions of religious battles being fought through the centuries. One window is called Christ as the Conqueror. It’s just pretty fantastic. Here are a few of my favorite views from the Cadet Chapel at West Point.

Thanks for sharing. I have never seen the inside of the cadet chapel at West Point. There motto is so inspiring. I have been in the cadet chapel at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. Also, it was very inspiring.
