It’s been a minute since I’ve taken time for an update because I’ve been swamped with preparations for RootsTech. This year it will be held March 6-8 in Salt Lake City with an online viewing option, as well. I will be there, and I’m really excited. This year I will be presenting four classes:

  • Four Fundamentals to Embrace as a Beginner
  • Scandinavian Power Hour (with my friends Jeff Svare and Geoffrey Froberg Morris)
  • Professional Genealogy Credentials: A Panel Discussion (with Dawne Slater, Eva Holmes and Angela Packer McGhie)
  • Taming Same-Name Research (part of the Live Stream)

I’m looking forward to presenting a lot of new and fresh material at this conference. But creating new content comes with a lot of work! It’s been a busy month of organizing my ideas and creating the best slides to convey these concepts. If you are attending, I hope you come find me and say hello.

If you haven’t registered, it’s not too late! This link will take you right to the page to get started. And as always, the virtual conference is available to view at home, free of charge. I love RootsTech for a lot of reasons. The energy of that conference is really enjoyable. I love seeing my genealogy friends in the flesh. And I love meeting people who love family history as much as I do. I hope to see many of you there!
